In view of the COVID19 situation and after much deliberation I have decided to retire.
It would not be possible for me to continue my hairdressing safely in the confines of my own home without putting my family and yourself at risk.
I have not taken this decision lightly and I am sure you will appreciate the dilemma I am faced with.
Inviting my clients into my home would enhance the dangers that we have all been trying to avoid since lockdown began.
I had toyed with the idea of retirement as I am now in my 60th year, but never did I imagine I would be faced with such an immediate decision.
I know you will be feeling let down and abandoned, but please put yourself in my shoes and consider the consequences.
Anyone could be a potential virus carrier, we have no way of telling!
Would you invite the virus into your own home knowing there’s a possibility your family and friends could be infected?
Also for the same reasons it would be unsafe for me to work in the homes of my clients.
I am happy to help with the transition to another hairdresser/salon.

Hello my lovelies ...
Sadly I will have to close my little salon for the foreseeable future.
My salon is located in the heart of my own home, so it would be very unfair of me to risk the health of my family.
I will endeavour to keep you informed as to when I will resume work, but as you can appreciate, it could be a few months!
