✂️ Holiday Notice ☀️

Just a little reminder that I’ll be on holiday from Sunday 16th August until Monday 24th August, and I’ll be back in the shop on Tuesday 25th August.

If you’re due a haircut while I’m away, please make sure you get your appointment booked in before I go to avoid disappointment. Appointments are already filling up, and I’d hate for you to miss out!

Unfortunately, this week has seen yet more last-minute cancellations and no-shows.

Between last week and this week alone, these missed appointments have cost my business around £200 in lost income, as well as wasting appointment times that could have been offered to other clients.

I’m going to see how the rest of the week goes, but if this continues, I’ll unfortunately have no choice but to introduce a late cancellation and no-show fee through Booksy. This means that if an appointment is cancelled too late or you simply don’t attend, a charge will automatically apply in line with the booking policy.

Please know that I’m always fair and understanding. If you get in touch to explain you’ve genuinely forgotten or something unexpected has come up, I will always do my best to help. The issue is with appointments being cancelled moments before they’re due to start, or clients not turning up at all, leaving me with no opportunity to fill those slots.

As a small business, every appointment really does matter, and I appreciate everyone who respects my time and supports my business.

✂️ A Little Reminder About Appointments ✂️

This week alone I’ve had 6 last-minute cancellations and no-shows. 5 of these were in one day!!

As a small business, this has a huge impact. When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved just for you. If you don’t turn up or cancel at the last minute, it’s very unlikely I can fill that slot, meaning I lose both valuable time and income.

I completely understand that emergencies happen, and life doesn’t always go to plan. But repeated no-shows and last-minute cancellations simply aren’t fair or acceptable for a small business trying to make a living.

Please, if you can’t make your appointment, give me as much notice as possible so I have the opportunity to offer your slot to someone else.

I genuinely appreciate every single client who turns up on time, respects my time, and supports my business. Your loyalty means more than you know. ❤️
