Volunteers needed for “Balsam Bashing” day in Malton VOLUNTEERS are needed for a “Balsam Bashing” day in Malton next month.

Finally graduated with a BA Hons in Politics and History. Thanks to all family, friends and customers who have offered tremendous support and listened to endless waffle for the past 6 years (and longer).

After almost 33 years stood behind the chair I’m not quite finished yet but looking forward to new opportunities and challenges.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to say to anyone that is voting tomorrow in the Malton Town Council election that my name is on the ballot standing as a truly independent candidate.

I made a conscious decision not to leaflet drop or door knock, no wild election promises or negativity toward other candidates.

In the unlikely scenario that I am elected I will simply do my very best to represent our town and the needs of it’s residents to the best of my ability.

Let’s see what happens ….

Introducing ‘Too Tall’ Paul (5ft8.5) our latest apprentice. 3 months in and showing great potential. We have always taken enormous satisfaction in providing both barbering and important life skills for young local people.
Traditional time served apprenticeships where the there is a real challenge to be met are rewarding for the employer and the apprentice.

The importance of businesses providing employment opportunities to local people shouldn’t be overlooked.
We will as ever be looking for volunteers soon for supervised FREE haircuts so Paul can start his career.
Feel free to tag someone who needs a cut from Paul.
