HOW LONG DOES BOTOX LAST ???
One of most common questions that clients will ask, so it's important to give them clear precise information, so that to meet their expectations...
*FIRSTLY LET'S EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS;
Botulinum toxin is produced by a specific type of bacteria. In higher amounts, it can be poisonous. However, only small, weaker doses of botulinum toxin are used to reduce facial wrinkles.
When botulinum toxin is injected, it blocks certain nerve signals that make muscles contract. The muscles relax, reducing unwanted wrinkles. It's more of a prevention than a cure, so catch it early guys 🙏
*SO ACTUALLY HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
In general, Botox lasts 3-4 months. There will certainly be patients in which in lasts longer, in that 4-6 month range, or shorter, in that 2-month range. It is also common for first-timers to notice that it may not last as long initially but may last longer after the second treatment.
* BUT I HAVE MOVEMENT AGAIN AFTER JUST 8 WEEK'S (2 MONTHS) ?
OK dont stress ! Yes thats completely normal, but everyone is different. It's a downward spiral from around week 8 to week 16 , when it would generally be safe to have another treatment.
Remember consistent high stress levels can be a factor....Consistently high-stress levels can cause the body to break down Botox more quickly while speeding the aging process. Taking part in meditation, yoga, and other stress-relieving activities can help you maximize the life span of your Botox while reducing any stress-related aging. So don't stress about it guy's 😃....
*WHY IS BOTOX TEMPORARY?
First, let’s look at what Botox is again and how it works so you can better understand how to extend your results with it. Botox is a protein that is derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. By injecting it into a muscle, it blocks signals from the nerves that cause the muscle to contract, and when muscles can’t contract, the dynamic wrinkles caused by facial movements relax and soften, allowing your face to look smoother.
