A truly bittersweet announcement… 💛✨

This post has taken me a long time to write, because my journey as a hairdresser has been more than just a career — it has been a lifelong passion. I started doing hair at just 8 years old, standing for hours, learning, practising, creating, and pouring love into every style I touched. Over the past 10+ years professionally, I’ve met so many incredible people, built so many bonds, and watched so many of you grow — and I’m truly grateful.

But today I have to share something difficult.

Due to arthritis, ongoing skin conditions, carpal tunnel and the physical strain that comes with long hours, my body can no longer keep up with the demands of hairdressing. After months of pushing through, resting, trying again and again, I’ve had to accept that my health has to come first.

So, as of 23rd December 2025, my booking app will close, and I will officially be stepping away from doing hair.

This isn’t just the end of a job — it’s the closing of a huge chapter of my life. A chapter built with passion, creativity and community. I am heartbroken, but also proud of everything I’ve built and everything I’ve poured into Ms Plattitude.

To everyone who has supported me, booked me, recommended me, or trusted me with their crown: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love has shaped this journey more than you know.

Although this chapter is ending, I am stepping into the next one with hope, healing and gratitude. 💛✨
