Not happy with the care youโre receiving or worried about the care someone you know is getting?
If your care has been arranged through the council, you may have more choice than you realise. Direct Payments can give eligible people greater control over who provides their care and how that support is delivered.

Staying active can play an important part in maintaining strength, balance and confidence.
Gentle movement such as regular walks, simple balance exercises or everyday activities around the home can all help support mobility when they are suitable for the individual.
During Falls Prevention Awareness Week, it is also a good reminder to seek advice from a GP, physiotherapist or other healthcare professional if you are unsure what type of activity is appropriate.
