The building does the heavy lifting, but what a building it is to work from. Manchesters original freelance hair space, where team members choose who they work with, what type of work inspired them and when they wish to do it.

Four years ago today, The Whitworth Street Creative Group pioneered what it means to be a freelance hair experts in the north west. Four years on, there’s been imitations, there’s been change, there’s been new spaces, faces and stories to tell. Happy birthday WSCS, the twelve team members, and new addition; that makes our part of the world so unique.

What’s your favourite element of the studio?

A beautiful space and a beautiful view.

Being freelance doesn’t mean you’re on your own. WSCS has a dedicated team to look after your clients from the starting flat white to the goodbye at the end.

Pat’s back from paternity leave & he decided that WSCS members & guests deserve a better standard of coffee. So, from this week, we’ll be teaming up with local roasters to serve the best coffee central Manchester has to offer. Little touches are what separates us & there’s plenty more to come. ☕️
