If you have blue eyes, the color you choose for your eye shadow can change the color your eyes appear. Purple or lavender can make your eyes look gray-blue. A rust-colored eye shadow can make your eyes sparkle. You can pair a rust color with teal or brown. A smoky eye looks good with blue eyes.
If you have green eyes, you can wear a mustard or peach-colored eye shadow to make your eyes look brighter. You can pair them with a chocolate colored eye shadow to add intensity or taupe for a contemporary look. Gold can highlight your eyes.
If you have brown eyes, wear a rich jewel tone, such as burgundy or brown. You can also choose navy or midnight blue eye shadow.
Always layer more dramatic colors on top of neutral shades. Don’t try to choose an eye shadow that is an exact match for your eye color. Do not use so much eye shadow that it overpowers your face.

Step 1: You can wear your eye makeup before applying the mascara. Make sure to use a neutral eye shadow palette for the same.
Step 2: Use the eye curler to curl your lashes. Place your curler beneath your eyelashes and gently press it against them for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat this step for more dramatic, long eyelashes.
Step 3: Having already bought the right shade of mascara with its definite purpose, unseal it. Ensure you pull out the mascara wand by twisting it rather than pumping it up and down to avoid getting the air into the tube that dries the mascara. Wipe the extra mascara from the wand. This ensures clump free lashes without putting in much effort.

1. Do your research. There are tons of lash boutiques in every major city and it’s tough to choose the right one. Find a lash artist that takes the time to properly apply extensions and has good reviews.
2. They will NOT damage your natural eyelashes. The key to proper lash extensions is the application method. If lashes are applied the right way, they will never break off or pull out your natural lashes. Going in, you should also be mindful to not pick or pull at them.
3. Plan to arrive at least five minutes early. This gives you the chance to get comfortable and address any questions or concerns with your lash artist.
4. Your first appointment will generally last 90-120 min. During lash extension appointments, your eyes will be closed the entire time. This is your time to take a midday nap!
5. Eyelash extensions are customizable. Who would have thought? There are many different lengths, curls and diameters of eyelash extensions as well as different looks that can be created. The most popular shapes are a cat eye, where the longest length is on the outer corner, or a round and open look where the longer length is in the middle.
6. Try a more natural look the first time. Unless you want to look like Kim Kardashian, it’s best practice to go with a natural look your first time. You can always add more drama later.
7. Maintenance is easy. We suggest a fill every 2.5-to-3 weeks. If you want them to last longer, be careful about how much you touch and rub your eyes. You should also brush them a couple times a week with the spoolie brush your lash artist sent you home with.
8. You CAN get them wet. That’s good news for all the water babies out there. Just wait the recommended 12-24 hours before you get them wet. And after that? Shower, swim, work out, whatever.
9. You CAN wear makeup. The best part of extensions is you can ditch your mascara and eyelash curler and cut your beauty routine time down, but that doesn’t mean you CAN’T wear eye makeup. If you love a winged eyeliner or a smokey eye, go right ahead and rock your look. Just make sure you are using something oil-free to take it off.
10. They’re not permanent! If you want to take a break from your extensions there are two ways to do it — have them taken off or let them come off naturally. Removal takes only take a few minutes.

When even the best mascara doesn't cut it for you, we've seen lash extensions and magnetic lashes to keep lashes looking longer and fuller. But if you don't want to fuss with the extra weight of lashes crowding your eyes, a lash lift might be for you.
A lash lift is a professional treatment during which a technician uses a curling rod to semipermanently curl your lashes, then sets the bend with a chemical solution to stay up until the next session. Think of it as a perm for your lashes. No extra lashes are added on — the effect comes from lifting your lashes from the root, and the results are glamorous.
How long does a lash lift last?
This really depends on how quickly your natural lashes grow, but a good lash lift can last up to six weeks. Since the procedure usually costs around $100, (more or less depending on location), it's important to take proper care of your lashes so you get your money's worth.
Is getting a lash lift worth it?
One of our beauty editors tested the procedure herself and loved the results. ""I can skip a curler, and my lashes stand out without mascara,"" she says. Her lashes really did look amazing afterwards!

TIPS FOR BETTER HAIR CARE
1. Wash Your Hair Regularly
Washing your hair regularly ensures that your scalp and hair is free of dirt and excess oil. However, the right frequency depends on your hair type and personal preferences. If you have extremely dry hair, limit your washing to twice a week. If you have an oily scalp, washing your hair on alternate days can help.
2. Use Chemical Free Shampoos
You really can’t control all the environmental factors that damage your hair, but what you can control is the kind of shampoos you use. Lesser the number of chemicals in your shampoo, healthier your hair. Go for gentle shampoos that suit your hair type.
Sulfates and parabens in shampoos are used for lathering and preserving respectively, but they can cause skin irritation over time and increase the risk of hormonal disruptions.
3. Condition Correctly
Your conditioner contains ingredients that make the hair fall straight and manageable. It protects your hair from environmental aggressors and heat styling. However, it should be applied only on the tips of the hair and not on your scalp. Also, make sure to rinse it off thoroughly post application.
4. Dry Your Hair Naturally
We know. Blow drying makes your hair as beautiful as that of your on-screen idol. But excessive heat styling can damage your hair scalp. Limit it to important events, if you have to style. Air drying or towel drying after shampoo is the best way to go. Never sleep in wet hair or comb wet hair. Harsh rubbing with a towel can damage the cuticle of your hair. Be gentle.
5. Oil Your Hair Properly
Pre-shampoo treatments like oiling and massaging improve blood circulation on the scalp, relax your muscles, boost shine and nourish the hair. It also restores moisture content, enables hair growth and repairs split ends. You can choose from coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, castor oil and the likes. Avoid using mineral oil on your hair.
These were some tips you could use to ensure your hair are being properly cared for. If you also have some tips that you use, feel free to write them in the comments.
