Sometimes, less really is more. 🤍

For this set of Hyperrealism hair strokes, I deliberately used fewer hair strokes and left more negative space within the brow.

There are two reasons why:

1. Her goal was ultimate naturalness.
She wanted her healed brows to look like her own — just slightly more defined. She didn’t want people to know she had semi-permanent brows done, so I kept the pattern light, airy and subtle.

2. She’s only 21.
She already has good natural brow hair, so there’s no need to overwork the skin or add lots and lots of strokes. A more conservative approach allows the brows to fade naturally over time, giving her more opportunities to refresh or adjust them in the years to come.

You don’t always need more strokes to create a beautiful brow. Sometimes, knowing when to stop is the real skill. ✨

Over the years of doing PMU, I’ve had the privilege of working with many people who have little or no natural brow hair, and I truly believe in what’s possible with the right technique.

So, I wanted to use my skills to give something back and help those who genuinely need it.

I’m offering two free brow reconstruction treatments each month for people who have lost their brows due to alopecia, chemotherapy or other medical conditions.
