What if your skin could look genuinely glowing, refreshed and healthy within a single appointment?

We'd like to introduce babyGLOW, a new treatment we've brought into the clinic because the science behind it is genuinely impressive and, more importantly, because the results are exactly what our patients are looking for - natural-looking luminosity, minimal downtime, and visible improvement almost immediately after treatment.

Most people we see in clinic are doing everything right - the serums, the routine, the supplements - and yet their skin is still dull, flat and lacking that vitality it once had. That's not a skincare problem, that's a skin quality problem, and it needs a different kind of solution.

babyGLOW is a precisely delivered injectable treatment that works within a very specific layer just beneath the skin's surface, allowing the product to spread evenly and integrate naturally into the tissue. The result is light-reflecting, healthy-looking skin that improves the overall quality and luminosity of your complexion. It's clinically backed, quick to perform, and has a very low risk of the kind of side effects associated with other injectable skin treatments.

If you're curious about whether babyGLOW is right for your skin, tap the link in the bio or send us a message saying "BABYGLOW" and we'll talk it through 💌

Morpheus8 isn’t the answer for everyone, but when it’s the right treatment, it makes a real difference.

It works deeper than most treatments, targeting the structure of the skin to improve firmness, support, and overall quality over time. That’s why it’s often the next step for skin that’s starting to feel a bit looser or less resilient.

But it’s not a fix for everything. It won’t replace volume, and it’s not where we’d start for pigmentation or redness. This is where good planning matters more than the treatment itself.

The best results come from choosing the right treatment at the right time, and knowing how to build around it.

If you’re considering Morpheus8 and want to understand whether it’s actually right for your skin, tap the link in my bio or send me a message saying “MORPHEUS” and we’ll talk it through 💌

Wave goodbye to unwanted lesions 👋🏻✨

CryoPen is one of those treatments that makes a bigger difference than people expect for something so quick and straightforward. Skin tags, warts, milia, age spots, sun spots, verrucas, keratosis, and pigmentation, all removed safely and precisely using a controlled jet of high-pressure nitrous oxide that targets the lesion directly without touching the surrounding skin.

No surgery or significant downtime, and suitable even for the most delicate areas. Most treatments take seconds, and patients are consistently surprised by how simple the whole experience is.

If there's something that's been bothering you and you've been putting off getting it sorted, head to the link in our bio to book your appointment. 🧡

If your skin isn’t improving, it’s usually not one thing you’re missing.

Most concerns sit at different levels of the skin, which is why one treatment on its own often falls short. The real shift happens when treatments are layered in the right way.

Clear the tone first so everything looks brighter and more even. Then build collagen and refine texture. Support hydration alongside it so the skin actually looks healthy, not just treated.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing it properly.

If you’ve been thinking about BBL and wondering, “How long does it actually take to see results?”, this should clear things up 👇🏼

A lot of people expect one treatment, one glow, job done, and while you will see a difference early on, that’s not where the real magic happens.

BBL is much more of a build, it’s about getting your skin into a better place gradually, then keeping it there so it consistently looks clear, even, and healthy without you having to fight it.

This is what that timeline actually looks like, from your first session to your best skin ➡️

You don’t need more treatments - you simply need a plan that actually makes sense.

Most people come to clinic asking what they need.

The better question is what’s actually going to make a difference.

We can improve your skin. We can support collagen, restore hydration and build a plan that works long term. But we won’t promise overnight change, follow trends, or recommend more than your skin needs.

Good results don’t come from doing everything. They come from doing the right things, in the right order, consistently.

That’s the part most people have been missing.

If you’re ready for a more considered, honest approach to your skin, we’ll guide you through it properly. Tap the link in our bio to book your consultation 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetic medicine is that nasolabial folds should be treated as an isolated “line”.

In reality the fold is often a reflection of changes occurring elsewhere. It could be reduced structural support through the midface, ligament support changes, skin quality, and the way soft tissue redistributes over time.

These photos were taken midway through treatment, with one side treated and the other untreated. I often find this is the most valuable part of the process, because once both sides are completed, the brain quickly normalises the result and we can forget the starting point.

Seeing the face side-by-side like this allows us to properly assess changes in support, transition, and facial harmony.

The goal is never to erase anatomy. It’s to understand it, respect it, and restore it subtly, we always aim for exceptionally natural results that could never be mistaken for filler by a stranger.

That being said, a small shift can create a significant difference visually giving us fresh looking results.

If your skin is starting to feel a bit flat, less bouncy, or not quite as “healthy” as it used to be, this is usually where Profhilo comes in.

It’s not about adding volume or changing your face. It’s about improving the skin itself.

Profhilo works by deeply hydrating and stimulating collagen, so over time the skin looks smoother, more luminous and better supported. The change is subtle, but it’s the kind people notice without being able to put their finger on why.

This is often where we start when the goal is better skin, not more structure.

And like most things in aesthetics, it works best as part of a plan. The right treatment at the right time, layered properly, will always give you a better result than trying to make one thing do everything.

If you’ve been thinking about Profhilo and want to know if it’s right for your skin, tap the link in our bio or send us a message and we’ll guide you through it properly 💌

We’re so proud to share that The Good Skin Guru has been featured by My Local Awards following our recent win as Aesthetics Clinic of the Year 2026 for Cumbria.

This recognition means a lot because it reflects what we’ve always tried to build here: a clinic where skin health comes first, treatments are led by evidence, and every patient is treated as an individual.

For us, aesthetics is about careful assessment, honest advice, safe treatment planning and results that feel natural, considered and right for you.

We’re incredibly grateful to every patient who trusts us with their skin, their face and their confidence. Your support is what allows us to keep growing, learning and raising the standard of care we offer in clinic.

A huge thank you to My Local Awards for the write-up, and to our brilliant team for the care, skill and passion they bring every single day ✨

Most people in their 30s don’t need more skincare - they just need a better plan.

This is where things start to shift. Skin tone becomes less even, hydration drops, and early collagen loss begins to show. Not dramatically, but enough that your skin doesn’t behave the way it used to.

The difference isn’t doing more. It’s doing the right things, consistently, at the right time.

That means focusing on skin quality early, supporting collagen, and keeping your approach simple but structured. Not ten steps. Not constantly switching. Just a plan that works.

Because the patients who age best aren’t correcting everything later. They’re maintaining early.

If you want to understand what that looks like for your skin, book a consultation via the link in our bio 🔗
