The frustration with the handling of Sierra Leone football by both the old and new SLFA administrations is deeply understandable. It is truly disappointing that a coach like Mohamed Kallon could serve the Leone Stars for about 13 months, lead several matches, recommend foreign-based players for national duty, and have all travel and administrative responsibilities approved by the SLFA—only for the same body to later raise questions about his qualifications and contract status. Public reports confirm that he was officially unveiled in February 2025 and later dismissed in April 2026.

It is difficult for many Sierra Leoneans to understand how a coach could work for over a year, receive salaries, travel arrangements, and full recognition as Leone Stars head coach, yet after his termination the SLFA would claim there was no proper contract from day one. Even earlier this year, SLFA President Babadi Kamara publicly reassured fans that there was no intention to sack Kallon and that contract discussions were only administrative.so why now talking about No Contract was given, Qualifications and press conference.
On which bases Coach Kallon and Backroom staffs were paid for 13 months without cross checking all these were stated .

This raises serious questions about transparency, accountability, and communication from both the previous leadership under Thomas Daddy Brima and the current administration led by Babadi Kamara. If there were genuine concerns about qualifications, contracts, or media obligations, why were these issues not addressed from the beginning instead of after 13 months of service? The responsibility should not be shifted entirely onto the coach when the football authorities themselves approved and supervised the process throughout.

Despite the controversy, many fans still believe Coach Kallon made a positive impact on the team, especially in improving the style of play and bringing renewed belief to the national side. For that reason
