Our boy is here! Vinnie Jake Jackson born 15th November at 11.11am weighing 7lb6oz. Mum and baby are doing amazing! Mummy and daddy are natural parents and have already made us so proud. We are all so full of love, pride and happiness!

Hi ladies as of 23rd September we will be increasing our prices, this is something we have tried to avoid for so long but unfortunately it’s unavoidable without compromising the standard we want to keep, the prices of stock have almost doubled since our last price increase over 5 years ago, We have noticed that on a lot of services we are actually undercutting ourselves. we aren’t in this job to make millions we do it because we love what we do and all the clients that come along with it. This is something we hate doing because of the relationship we are lucky enough to have with our clients, we genuinely hate taking a bill at the end of an a appointment (probably more than you hate paying it) as much as we wish we could do your hair for free unfortunately we’re yet to win the euro millions and still have bills to pay! any quotes that have been given for appointments that have already been made will of course still stay at that price, the new prices lists will be printed and available soon but for anyone who wants to know the price of their upcoming appointment feel free to to message before then!

After what feels like a life time of unanswered questions, yesterday we finally got the answer we didn’t want to hear, it is an ectopic pregnancy. I’ve been given an injection to move things along in hope to avoid surgery and will be monitored closely for the next few months but it’s likely I won’t need anymore treatment. I’m sorry I haven’t got back to everyone personally I still have 110 unopened messages right now I haven’t got it in me to respond but we appreciate all the support, love and well wishes it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Whilst it’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt, physically I’m fine I’ve had a little bit of sickness and I’m sleeping around the clock. Jack, my mum and dad have kept me going and have as always give me more love and support than one person could ever need. I will be back in work tomorrow taking it slow my hours will be cut down and doing less than usual but feel i need to work as much as my body will allow for my own sanity. Even though now isn’t our time and we’ll carry this loss with us forever, one day we’ll have our little family💕

Morning everyone, this isn’t my usual post and it’s typically something I’d never share but given the relationship I have with all my clients it’s only fair I’m as open with you as I can be after I’ve had to cancel so many appointments with so little explanation. Over the past few weeks I have been under the hospital after having a positive pregnancy test, I quickly started having problems so after a scan was told there’s a 96% chance it would be a failed pregnancy, 2% of an ectopic and 2% of an early pregnancy but there’s no certain answer, after yet another trip to the hospital yesterday was told I’m in no way presenting as a failed pregnancy but instead either an ectopic or early pregnancy and only time will tell which one, the next few weeks are going to be very grey and filled with a lot of appointments as I have to go back every 48 hours or if I have any slight change, as much as I can’t wait to get back to work I’m gonna need a lot of patience and understanding as there will be last minute cancellations and for all appointments that do go ahead I won’t be my usual self. So many of you have called and messaged to check in and I appreciate you all more than you’ll ever understand, I’m exhausted both mentally and physically but im ok I’m pain free and feel well in myself. I know you’ll all be understanding as always whilst we go through this and keep everything crossed for us that we get our miracle baby at the end of this🤞shellbie x
