With over 20 years of experience and a career that's taken him from the West Midlands to Japan and Australia, Mr Nijjar has trained alongside some of the world's leading surgeons in weight loss and upper GI surgery. Today he's Head of the Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery Unit at University Hospitals Birmingham, and he performs the vast majority of his procedures using keyhole techniques, which can mean less pain and a quicker return to everyday life.
He also teaches and trains the surgeons of the future as a Senior Academy Tutor at the University of Birmingham. Expertise you can trust, from someone who's dedicated his career to it.
