Being ignored isn't a diagnosis.
Being told it is normal is not the same as being told what is happening. Being told to come back in six months is not an answer. And being told that this is just what happens after children, or after forty, or after anything at all, is not a reason to stop asking.
If something has changed and you know it has changed, that is worth a proper conversation with someone who works in this every day.

Meet Mr Mark Gorman, our Medical Director and a consultant cosmetic surgeon in Manchester.
He trained in medicine at the University of Manchester, is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in plastic surgery, and completed an advanced fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the London School of Aesthetic Medicine. Over ten years in cosmetic surgery, across face, breast and body.
Cosmetic surgery is not a protected title in the UK, so the qualification behind the name is the only thing that tells you what someone actually trained in. FRCS (Plast) means the Royal College examined him.

Ann Marie was 63 when she finally went ahead with the surgery she had been quietly thinking about for years: a facelift, neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty with our team at Transform.
For her it was never really about ageing. It was that her face had stopped matching her personality. Marionette lines left her looking permanently fed up even when she was in a genuinely good mood, and the bagging around her eyes had come on so gradually she had not realised how tired she looked until she saw the difference afterwards.
She first came to Transform over 20 years ago. At 41 she asked about a facelift and was told she did not need one yet, and that honesty stuck with her. It is the reason she came back to us when the time felt right.
Recovery took its course. A little bruising, swelling around the eyes that took longest to settle, three weeks in a head support and a few dog walks with the hood up to avoid the neighbours. It wasn't long before everything had settled and she was delighted with the result.
What mattered most to her is that it looks natural rather than obviously done. People who do not know she has had anything simply tell her she looks well.
