We had a great exchange discussing aesthetic trends, common dermatological conditions
and how AviClear is being used in Taiwan.
What we’ve learnt:
1. Skin quality and natural results continue to be a major focus in aesthetics, across both Asia and the UK.
2. Lasers and energy based devices are playing an increasingly important role in modern dermatology and aesthetics, with a growing move towards combination treatments to target different aspects of skin ageing and achieve better overall results.
3. AviClear is being used in Taiwan for acne, with a strong focus on oil control and targeting the sebaceous glands.
4.Rosacea and sensitive skin are becoming increasingly common concerns in Asia. One contributing factor we discussed is the increasing use and layering of active skincare ingredients, which can disrupt the skin barrier and trigger irritation and rosacea prone skin.
Always fascinating to exchange ideas with dermatologists from around the world and learn how approaches to skin and aesthetics are evolving in different countries.
