Two years of hard work, learning, growing, building our little salon and getting to do what we love every day. 💙

Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or have only recently found us, every appointment booked, recommendation, lovely review, shared post and kind word genuinely means more to us than you probably realise.

Congestion isn’t just a concern for younger skin ✨

As we age, cell turnover naturally slows and years of sun exposure can contribute to enlarged pores, uneven texture and stubborn open comedones/blackheads.

This lovely new client came in with congestion as her main concern and after chatting during her facial, mentioned she had lived abroad for a number of years which was consistent with some of the signs of long term sun exposure we was seeing in her skin.

Her treatment focused on a thorough cleanse, gentle chemical exfoliation and careful extractions to clear as much congestion as possible without overworking the skin.

She was so happy with the amount we managed to remove and how much clearer and smoother her skin felt afterwards 🤍

The key with mature skin is never to strip or aggressively exfoliate, it’s about clearing congestion while still supporting hydration, the skin barrier and, of course, daily SPF ☀️
