Really relying on weight training to get me through this winter โ in more ways than one!
๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Firstly exercise is one of the best ways to improve your mental health, especially if you're an overthinker like me. Mindfulness is something I need to practice but mainly I just need to get out my head!
๐ฅ Secondly, building muscle and increasing your metabolism can help keep you warm even at rest! No need for 100 layers
๐Then there's the benefit of a better immune system. While this won't stop you getting flus or the rona (and be very wary of quacks on the Internet saying it can) it can decrease your chance of being seriously ill if you do get it
๐ฅAnd lastly going back to my post yesterday on , it help to decrease the symptoms of osteoarthritis and slow the progression. Symptoms of arthritis tend to get worse in the winter so now as good a time as any to start!

When regular soft tissue release techniques just aren't doing the job there can often be some nerve damage or compromised muscle tonicity. This is a great little technique that can address that
It alleviates pain and improves circulation but the main benefit is it's ability to replicate muscle contractions and target specific areas of the muscle.
Moving around the belly of the muscle there will be areas that don't have as strong a contraction so focusing the pulse there increases the tonicity of that area and allows the muscle as a whole to function better. It is important to then train that muscle and allow the benefit of better muscle activation to be felt.
This is why I named my brand Funtional Intergrative Techniques(FIT) as I truly believe the best results as seen when different treatment methods are combined with a common goal. Not simply using a one-size-fits-all approach
