✨ Traditional Lash Lift vs Korean Lash Lift ✨

I get asked this a LOT, so here’s a quick breakdown of the difference 👇🏼

TRADITIONAL LASH LIFT

• Lashes are glued onto a silicone shield
• Step 1 breaks down the bonds within the natural lash, allowing it to be reshaped
• Step 2 reforms the bonds and sets the lashes into their new shape
• The shield and positioning of the lashes are used to create the desired lift and curl

KOREAN LASH LIFT

• Generally a glueless technique
• Uses different lifting solutions, commonly cysteamine-based
• The products are used to help mould and position the lashes onto the shield
• The technique focuses heavily on lifting the lashes from the root and directing them upwards
• The result is often a clean, lifted look while keeping as much of the natural lash length visible as possible

Both treatments work by chemically restructuring the natural lash, but the products, application and technique are different.

There isn’t one treatment that’s automatically better — it depends on your natural lashes and the result you’re looking for.
