I had this lovely lady visit me yesterday at wanting to break up her home colour. I added a mix of high and low lights to give her some depth and break her colour up nicely. We were both pleased with the results. No before picture 🤦🏽‍♀️

Sometimes, we take what we do for granted in the hairdressing industry. Forgetting that we actually have a huge impact on someone's wellbeing.

Yesterday showed me what a difference we truly make when this young lady came to see me as she had matted hair. She hadn't told anybody and the matting continued to get worse. When she opened up, they had tried to fix it themselves, but it's no easy task and, unfortunately, couldn't do it on their own. The first picture is how she came to me in the salon. It was quite overwhelming, even for me.

After 3 hours in the chair, some tears (not just mine, this little trooper was amazing) we got there! She was so happy and the girl that left the salon was not the same one that walked in. I love my job and clients like this remind me of that.
