First day at the new shop done 🙌 we've had a few teething problems, but it's been bloody lovely!

Just a heads up for you lovely lot ❤️ we're still in the midst of getting set up, but I wanted to share the new shop information as we will be opening (hopefully) on Thursday. All appointments from then on will be at the new shop! So excited for you to see what we've created!

I’ve got something important to share with you all, some of you already know, but recently things have been a little more challenging than usual for us at Riot Hearts.
We are having to move the studio to a new space — and honestly, it wasn’t something we had planned. Our landlord has asked us to leave at the end of our tenancy, and while that has brought on a lot of stress, it’s also given us the chance to reflect on what this journey means to us.
The new premises will allow us to continue providing services, but with that comes increased costs. As a result, we are having to raise our prices to help cover these new expenses.
This isn’t a decision we've taken lightly. We’ve always strived to keep our prices affordable and accessible for you all, and it’s been our absolute pleasure to work with you at a rate that feels fair. However, with the rising cost of living and the higher costs associated with the new space, we no longer have a choice but to make this adjustment.
The difficulty in finding the right new space, combined with all the changes, actually made me question whether or not I still wanted to continue being a hairstylist. It’s been a tough road, and there were moments where I wondered if it was all worth it. But then I thought about all the amazing chats and connections I’ve made with you over the years, and how much I’d miss it.
My passion for hair is still stronger than ever. It's not just about creating beautiful styles, it's about the people I get to meet and the bonds we share. That’s what keeps me going. So, while the move and the price increase are necessary for me to continue doing what I love, I know it's the right step.
Please know that I deeply appreciate every single one of you. Your support has meant the world, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I’m so grateful for your understanding as I continue on this journey and step into the next chapter.
This means that appointments for November are currently subject to change as I'm going to have to do some shuffling around in order to make the move.

Ey up! I just wanted to say hello 👋 and thank you all for making my job as a hair stylist so enjoyable! I feel super lucky to have such amazing clients.
For those who are new here, I'm Becca ☺️ and I'm all about making hair cuts a fun experience. If you know me, you'll know I love chatting about music, gigs, The Sims, dogs (one day I'll have my own🤞), and my latest TV obsession!
I want to be upfront with you all - if I don't think a style will suit you, I'll let you know and work with you to create a look that makes you feel amazing.
If your hair isn't quite long enough for the cut you want, don't worry! We can discuss options and I'll be honest with you about what will work best. I'd rather trim your hair and wait for it to grow than charge you for a cut that won't be what you wanted.
One thing to note - I don't do super short haircuts. It's not that I'm not capable, it's just that I don't have as much experience with those styles, so I wouldn't want to risk not doing it justice. Instead, I recommend booking with Keira () - she's amazing with short hair! 😊
Anyways, I'll stop waffling. I look forward to seeing you in the chair.
P.S. If you have a dog, please bring them in to meet me 🙈 (our studio is dog friendly, we're all animal lovers here!)
