A bit about our founder ⭐️

I’m Lisa Ryan, 36, originally from Galway and proud to call Manchester home for the last 13 years.

I run Escape Spa MCR, based at the INNSiDE Hotel, where we offer everything from massages to beauty and wellness treatments. A little haven in the heart of a busy city.

Back in 2008, when the recession hit Ireland hard, job opportunities were few and far between. I came to Manchester for a weekend break… and never left!
With no plan and no money, I started picking up hospitality jobs, working long hours and studying health and beauty in the evenings.

Fast-forward to 2016 - with a qualification under my belt and savings from years of graft, I decided to go for it and open my own business.

These days life is full-on. My partner and I have a five-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son, so it’s a constant juggling act. - nappies, nursery runs, rotas, client bookings and treatments, you name it. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m proud of what I’ve built and grateful for the loving family I come home to every day.
