Let’s talk hyalase.

Hyalase is most commonly used in the dissolving of dermal filler but due to it being an enzyme there is the risk of allergic reaction in certain individuals.

This client had a positive reaction to hyalase during patch testing which means treatment was postponed to avoid a potentially more severe allergic response.
While reactions are uncommon they CAN happen - which is why safety protocols are NEVER optional.
