Spotlight Massage & Recovery

This morning I was invited back to my old secondary school, Quarrydale Academy, to speak to the Year 10 students about my career journey since leaving school 😊

It was great to be back and share what I’ve been up to, from deciding what to do after my GCSE’s and college courses, to progressing onto university and building my own business 🙌🏻

It can be a lot of pressure in secondary school to pick what career you want to do, so it was nice to have the opportunity to share my experiences 😊💪🏻

6 years of businessss!!! 🥳

Can’t believe it’s been 6 years since I was a university student taking the first steps to create my business, I couldn’t have imagined how well it would have turned out! ☺️

This year was one of the biggest years for Spotlight Massage & Recovery, as I moved into my new clinic space! 💃🏼

So much has happened with my business in the past year including:

• Partnering with Physique Management 🫶🏻
• Massaging at HYROX UK & Ireland & triathlon events Outlaw Triathlon 🏃🏼‍♀️
• Continuing to work regularly as part of the occupational health team with Royal Ballet and Opera in London 🎭
• Worked with or helped to raise funds/awareness for various charities including John Eastwood Hospice Mind Macmillan Cancer Support 💚
• Presenting and chairing at Therapy Show 😁 (it was such a surreal experience chairing the business advice theatre!)
• Working with perfomers from many productions and musicals 🎭
• Created The Safer Project which aims to support other solo professionals ☺️
• Worked as part of the team for Great Britain Tag Rugby 🇬🇧
• Working alongside other dance specialists at The Place London for the health screenings 💃🏼

… and I’ve probably missed a few things off this list! 🤣

There’s some exciting opportunities coming up very soon and I can’t wait to share 🤍 thank you all so much for the support as always, and to all my clients! 🥰💪🏻

I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the cast members from various productions for vocal massage so far this year and over the summer! 🎭

I’m a few weeks into my 5th season working with The Royal Ballet & Opera 🎭 it’s been so good to be back after the summer break! 😊

Spent today at London Contemporary Dance School as part of the health screening team for the new intake of dancers 💃🏼 it was great to be back and to catch up with so many other dance and performing arts specialists! 🎭
