Time flies!⏰️ Today marks 2 years since Dave delivered the very first order to Colchester Zoo! They were very pleased with how our bath bombs sold in their gift shop and we are proud to still be supplying them 2 years later 😁🦁

A personal post from Katy...
So today I had a visit from a reporter from Mansfield Chad, he came to see me in regards to a comment I made on a post about the town centre. I said I was fed up of seeing negative things about Mansfield ALL OF THE TIME! If only negative things are said/seen then people will only speak about the negative things. I knew when the article was posted I'd need my big girl pants on to read all of the comments🥱🙄

Of course there's negative things, just like there are in most towns and cities now days.
‼️BUT instead of focusing on the negatives why can't we focus on the positives instead?
If we all look at the positives Mansfield has to offer and shout about the good things then more people will have a visit into town and what happens if more people start visiting their local town and spending money with their local businesses? More shops will open!
It really isn't rocket science. More footfall = more/'big' brand shops.

I for one don't want to see our town centre get any worse than it has over the years but that is out of my control; we all know the council need to offer more support and incentives and more policing is needed but we aren't responsible for that.
What we CAN DO however is tell our customers about the new shops that have opened, point them in the direction of shops that sell what they're looking for and thank them for choosing to spend their hard earned money with us.

I always shout about the businesses in town as I believe town centre positivity starts with us- the town centre staff and the people who are chosen to represent the town centre and its constituents.

If all somebody wants to do is leave negative comments/remarks about the town then maybe Mansfield isn't for them or instead of spouting about 'there's no shops worth visiting' then why don't they put their money where their mouth is and build a business that people want?

Mansfield has lots of independent shops as well as there being more shops open in the Four Seasons now than there was 3 years ago, us retail workers are friendly and welcoming, the majority of the people of Mansfield are a friendly bunch and just stand in the marketplace and look up and notice the beautiful buildings.

It's bloody hard work running a business and hearing negative nellies all the time is so deflating 😞
Remember that saying...If you've got nothing nice to say than don't say anything at all 🙌

Events....
This year we have made the decision to attend only 3 events with our products and gazebo! Although its lovely to get out and about we decided we would enjoy more Sundays at home, getting the BBQ on and less time "on the road" during the summer on weekends, as all external events can be hit and miss. So this year we have stuck to 3 we consider our best! Starting next week we will be at Mansfield Woodhouses Annual Party in the Park on Manor Complex! This is always super busy and we see so many of our regulars there!

In other news its only a couple of weeks until our TENTH year in business, yes 10 years since this photo was taken at Mansfield NOW - by Mansfield Forward BID Armed Forces Day in 2016 which we will be proudly attending again this year! We have attended EVERY armed forces day event in Mansfield since 2016! 🇬🇧🇬🇧
