Another first-time lip filler lady, who can't believe she didn't take the plunge sooner.

I've been qualified and practising aesthetic injectables for over 6 years now, and I STILL get nervous when treating those who come for their first ever lip filler treatment. It's because I know how nervous the client is, and how terrified they are of looking like an overfilled, false, wannabe 20 something. I'm confident in my ability to assess and inject with the right techniques and products. But the client who come to me for the first time, in their eyes, are taking a massive risk and literally putting their face in my hands! 1ml of a fine filler was used here to restore a little bit of volume, hydrate the lips, enhance the shape, and reduce some of the smokers/barcode lines💉 all whilst avoiding the dreaded duck pout 😉

The most favourite part of this job is giving people their confidence back ✨️. That doesn't look like a brand new face. It's making them look like they did 5-10 years ago. Less tired, less saggy, less haggard, or just a little smoother 😉

My beautiful bestie was diagnosed with the "C bomb" last summer 😔 she has smashed 16 gruelling rounds of chemo and immunotherapy and has just recovered from her first lot of surgery. As easy as I made that sound, it has been far from it 😔. Unfortunately, it isn't over yet as there is more treatment to come, not to mention treatment from the conditions and symptoms caused by aggressive chemotherapy/immunotherapy. All of leah's loved ones are immensely proud of her bravery and for battling through the scariest, toughest period of her life. She is the strongest woman we know and a true inspiration! We love you, Leah 😘
