3rd appointment with this lovely lady and the previous damage is growing out nicely. The only issue now is that the free edge is very weak because this is where the damage now is however by armouring the free edge with acrygel, I can give them the strength and support they need whilst growing out. I’m looking forward to seeing how these are doing at her next appt 🖤

Previous years spooky sets 🖤👻🐈⬛ the first chunk of sets are from 2-3 years ago! I was so proud of them then but now it shows me just how much my skill has improved. I can’t wait to see the spooky sets this year!
For a bit of fun does anyone wanna take a guess at how much this order set me back? I don’t compromise on product quality, so I don’t go cheap but they’re worth every penny.
It does contain 2 brand new builders 🙌 ones a builder gel and ones a hard gel. I also picked up a matte top coat, so let me know if you wanna be a guinea pig for that 😁
Hats off to this one for avoiding all temptation to rip off the broken nail and for not taking down the length! 💕 trust me, I know neither of these things are easy for some of you so I’m always super proud when you resist temptation.

Sometimes when it comes to cuticle prep less is more. As you can see in the last two pics I did a lot of work on the cuticle. Could I have gone further? Yes but actually going too far could cause the skin to start fighting back, in this case it’s more beneficial to leave a little behind and then next time I can go that bit further.

I always love the start of a gel journey but I also appreciate how hard that can be for a client. On a first appointment I can’t always guarantee how long your set will last, this can be for a number of reasons like nail damage and also trial and error of finding the best product for you. This first set may not be the one that lasts 3+ weeks, generally it’s around 2-2.5 however after 2 to 3 appointments you’ll find your nails are so much stronger and healthier, you’ll see them adapting to the prep so much better and notice that they’re easily lasting 3+ weeks.
