I started doing nails back in 2005 and I’ll tell you something straight away, it did NOT come naturally to me.
I struggled. I trained. I practised. I went on more training days. And I worked bloody hard at it.
Years later, Kerri Coote told me I needed to become an educator and my immediate reaction was basically… absolutely not 😂 But here we are.
Training to become an educator with CJP has pushed me massively. Their standards are incredibly high and you have to put the work in, but that’s exactly why I’m so proud to teach under their name.
And I think the fact that I struggled in the beginning actually makes me a better educator now.
Because when you sit at my desk and something just isn’t clicking, I GET IT.
There are no silly questions here. I don’t care if your French isn’t behaving, your application feels all wrong or everyone else seems to understand something that you just can’t get your head around.
We’ll find another way to explain it. We’ll slow it down. We’ll work out what YOU need to make it click.
I’ll give you the time, space, tools and support, but I’ll also tell you the truth, you have to go home and practise. Good nails don’t happen in a day.
Teaching my daughter and watching her become so bloody good at nails was probably the final little push that made me realise how much I genuinely love teaching.
So that’s me. Fran. Nail tech since 2005, educator, and someone who knows exactly what it feels like to struggle before it finally clicks. 🤍

There’s something timeless about a beautifully structured French manicure.
This set combines a soft, natural n**e-pink base with crisp white French tips and delicate crystal detailing — keeping the look elegant, clean and wearable. ✨
As an educator, I’m always looking beyond the finished design. Structure, balance, symmetry, product control and a clean finish are what make a set look truly professional.
The French tip may look simple, but creating a consistent smile line and maintaining the correct proportions across every nail takes practice, precision and an understanding of nail structure.
✨ Classic doesn’t mean basic. It means getting the detail right.
