Benson's Hair Salon

Salon life will be a bit different as of Friday 8th May as we have a new member of staff starting - Percy Bishop.

Percy will only be doing mornings for the time being. He came into the salon today for a trial run whilst I cut Marks hair, and it went well. But please be patient with us as Percy might need some bedding in time 🙏.

I have a few things to ask of you if you come into the salon when Percy is on shift.

1. If he's asleep, please don't wake him 😴.

2. If he's awake and you want to greet him, please can you use calm voices. We want him to learn that although meeting people is nice. We mustn't get to over excited.

3. I'm sure you will all love him and want to spoil him. But for the time being we are being VERY strict with his diet and only given him certain things at certain times to help aid with his training. Plus his little tummy is still sensitive of new things. So please don't feed him any versions of food,biscuits or treats.

4. He will be in a crate for the early stages until he has learned his manners and can stay in his bed etc. Sometimes if the salon is quiet, I may let him wander round the salon, but I will lock the salon door so you may need to give us a knock! ☺️

I'm sure there will be bumps in the road with Percy as he learns his way in the world and molds himself into salon life. But fingers crossed he soon finds his way.
He can't wait to meet you all and start his new job!

Having kept our prices the same since 2024, due to rising cost of running the salon, we will be having a small price increase from Tuesday 7th April.

We understand that price increases are never ideal and we have tried to keep this to a minimum. Your support means
everything to us and we truly appreciate your understanding.

So this is Christmas......

I don't think it's any secret that since we lost Benson at Christmas, this isn't my most favourite season anymore. However, the show must go on as they say and Christmas comes and goes every year wether we like it or not 😊.

Thank you again so much to all our lovely clients which we are so lucky to be able to call ours 😍. We laugh we you, we cry with you, we cry at you sometimes and somehow, throughout it all, we do some hairdressing too!

We love our little Benson community and never take your custom for granted.

So we hope you all have a very merry Christmas however you are spending the day. And if it's not the most wonderful time of year for you, I hope you can find some peace throughout the day, and remember, that's all it is.... 1 day!

We had a fabulous night on Friday night at the Braza's Christmas party night. Lovely food and great entertainment. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to have their Christmas do next year!
