Another Carnival....another prize! 1st place for best walking/dancing costume group! 🥰😍

Some of our latest upcycling projects are now complete and ready to sell.

Our people work really hard on each project and get a real sense of pride seeing the end result. We are so proud of their hard work and achievements!

They are Supported mainly by Andrea who leads the way with her knowledge and great skills in upcycling but most of the hard work is actually done by our people.

They sand the project down and ensure that its prepped well before undercoating and then painting.

Andy will also help and guide our people to do the finishing touches such as the handles and wipers. When the items are sold the money generally goes back in the pot for more materials for the next project. At the moment we are still raising money towards a new wet room so any money raised is currently going into this fund.

The camper vans are currently selling for £45 each to cover materials and to make a little profit for the wet room

We have been supporting Health and social care students from EKC Broadstairs College for many years! We are so very proud of the skills they learn and the difference they make whilst completing their work experience alongside our
Wonderful staff team. Here are are our certificates from the past five years although we have been supporting students for at least 10 years. Many of the students have also been employed after they complete their course and are part of our talented staff team.

Our people always help out with living skills at the end of each day, its a great way to prepare them for the future and to teach and maintain skills. We believe that the Resource centre belongs to them and so it is important for them to help look after it 🥰😍
