What is your job post microneedling?

1. Keep your skin clean. No touching, no make up, no excessive sweating (exercise) and changing your pillowcase is a must. You effectively need to treat your skin as a fresh wound to prevent any breakouts/infections from forming. A gentle cleanser after 24hrs is enough.

2. Keep your skin hydrated. No actives just gentle but hydrating serum/moisturiser. Preferably something that you have used before so you know your skin likes it.

3. PROTECT!! This is so important. SPF at all times. Your skin has been put under controlled trauma so we need to protect it from damage while it is healing and creating new collagen.

Following aftercare is paramount to the success of the treatment. Treatment + correct aftercare = RESULTS 🤩

These pictures are actually 17 weeks apart but sessions are normally spaced out 10-12 weeks. So many clients ask me to book them in sooner but it’s not until they see the different stages and changes the tattoo goes through that they understand the big gap.

We want the skin to have enough time to heal and for any ink that’s broken down to leave the body. I want what’s best and safest for my clients and corners can’t be cut
