A LITTLE REMINDER 📱

Many of you already know that our salon phone is a mobile number, but it is used as the salon phone and stays at the salon.

As our team all work different hours, the salon isn’t always open every day. We could be closed across weekends and sometimes on a Monday too, and there are occasions where we may finish a little earlier on a Friday.

This means messages may not always be picked up or replied to across the weekend and, at times, it may be Tuesday before we get back to you.

Between Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, text messages, voicemail and online bookings, there’s always plenty to keep me busy. Many of you also have my personal Facebook, Instagram or mobile number, so messages often come through there too, which means I’m usually keeping up with two sets of messages at once.

I always do my best to get back to everyone, but sometimes it can take me a little longer than I’d like.

Messages sent across weekends may not always be replied to straight away, whether that’s through the salon phone or social media. This is something I’m trying to be a little more mindful of so I can give myself some breathing space and properly switch off from work from time to time.

I love modern-day technology and how easy it makes it for everyone to get hold of me, but it doesn’t always mean I’m available 24 hours a day.

However… this is Demi we’re talking about 🤣

I am slightly forgetful and sometimes get caught up in the million and one jobs. Very occasionally I do genuinely forget to reply to a message.

If it’s been a few days, especially over a weekend, and you haven’t heard back from me, please do give me a little nudge. I honestly don’t mind at all and would much rather you remind me than sit there waiting for a reply. Trust me, I drive myself mad sometimes with how forgetful I can be!
