A little playing and a little humming!
I haven’t had time to play it much but the kora is doing something to me that I really love 💜

Also currently in a rabbit hole of watching incredible Kora women Sona Jobarteh and Lubiana and feeling very inspired and very much like a beginner all at once!

We were mid session on a training and the energy in the room was amazing!
This is vocal toning for the chakras…and what you’re hearing is us coming into resonance together.
So what does it actually do to your nervous system? When you tone with your voice, your body becomes the instrument. The vibration moves through you, calming the nervous system, releasing held tension, and bringing you back to yourself.
The crown chakra is your connection to something bigger than the everyday. When it opens you feel it! 💜🙌🏼

1. I thought the more instruments I had, the richer my sessions would be

And yes, each instrument brings its own magic. But it was learning how to truly work with each one, understanding its voice, its purpose, its medicine, that transformed everything.

2. I used to fill every silence

I thought silence meant something had gone wrong. It took me years to understand that silence was doing the deepest work of all.

3. I forgot that I was part of the medicine

My energy, my intention, my own inner state before I even picked up a single instrument. The sound really does carry what you bring to it.
