It's been just over 5 years since my business began as Bella Marie Make Up. Over the years it has grown and developed into Bella Marie Beauty, as I learnt more skills and added more treatments to offer. It has survived a pandemic, what felt like a million lockdowns, it has moved houses 3 times, and after every 'setback' it has come back stronger. I have been running my business full time since February 2020 (minus a chaotic month back in a Costa store in December of last year 🙃) and I feel so lucky that I have been able to turn my passion for beauty and makeup into a full time job.

However.... the time has come to move forward in my life now, and get back to building a career outside of the house 😅

Looking back through pictures to make this post I realised how incredibly far I have come, and how proud I am for everything I have achieved. From my first ever paying customers for makeup back in 2018, all the brides who trusted me for their big day, then training in brows and lashes and making you all feel super glamorous after every visit with me, to the first set of nails I ever did (even though it took nearly 3 hours!!)

I have made some amazing friends along the way, we've laughed, we've cried, you've shared your lives with me whether it was a quick gossip and moan about your other halves, or being the first one to know you were having a baby! You've listened to me rant, you've been patient while I've taken 4 million pictures of your nails/brows/lashes, and I will never ever forget the amount of support and love I felt during the lockdowns while my business was closed.

The success of Bella Marie Beauty is owed to you - your loyalty, your support, your friendship. I love you all, and I'll never be able to thank you all enough ❤

Bella Marie Beauty will officially be closing it's doors on 31st March 2023.
