Reiki is a form of healing touch that conducts energy from the giver to the receiver. It is a holistic therapy in that it works on the mind, body and spirit by stimulating the body's own natural healing capacity. It can be used alone or with other treatments to help restore physical and emotional balance in the body. The treatment can also improve pressure in the ears and head, give relaxation in states of anxiety and stress. Stimulates the lymphatic system and helps circulation. Hopi ear candle treatments can help, with noticeable benefits from problems or conditions linked to the ear, nose and throat region and are often used as an alternative to traditional treatments. Full treatment of both ears lasts for up to approximately 15 minutes (per ear) with a facial massage to follow which aids the effects of the candles.
