With Christmas fast approaching, our diaries are filling up quickly, and we’re now working with very limited availability! 🤍

To help us manage the festive rush fairly and ensure as many clients as possible can get booked in, please take a moment to read our updated Christmas appointment notice.

We kindly ask everyone to book carefully and give us as much notice as possible if plans change. With our busiest time of year approaching, we want to make sure everyone has the best possible chance of getting their appointments secured🫶🏼

A little update regarding the recent UK nail product changes 🤍

As many of you may have seen, new UK legislation has recently come into effect regarding certain ingredients used in nail products. This is the first time we’ve experienced a change like this on this scale in the UK, meaning brands have had to reformulate a huge amount of their existing products.

A lot of the products we have ordered have naturally arrived HEMA-free/reformulated, and with this comes a period of trial and error while brands work to perfect their new formulas.

HEMA is an ingredient commonly used in gel polish, builder gel and BIAB products. One of its important functions is helping the product adhere to the natural nail before being properly cured under a UV/LED lamp.

For us as nail techs, this has unfortunately meant having to adapt very quickly. We have invested THOUSANDS of pounds into new stock to make sure we are following the new requirements straight away.

At The Beaute HQ, we have always been very much by the book. When legislation or official guidance changes, we don’t wait around we make the necessary changes immediately because the safety and compliance of our clients and our business will always come first. 🤍

We are aware that some salons have not yet fully transitioned, but this is something we have taken extremely seriously from the beginning.

We also want to be completely transparent with our clients. If you notice that your retention isn’t quite at the standard you’re used to from us, please understand that this isn’t from a lack of care or effort on our part.

We are working with the products that are now legally available to us, while manufacturers continue to perfect their new formulas.

Unfortunately, this transition comes with a learning curve for both nail techs and clients, and we are all having to deal with the consequences while the industry adjusts.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we navigate this change. 🤍
