THE GOLDEN GIRLS SALON RE-OPENING ANNOUCEMENT

The Government have announced Beauty Salons are able to reopen safely from Monday 13th July. Unfortunately the beauty industry has been forgot about, leaving us with 3 whole days to do a deep clean of the premises, prepare ppe and stock along side re booking 50 + clients (which were only cancelled last week) and each client averaging at around 3 treatments (which will be longer than normal due to covid 19 procedures and overgrowth). This is months worth of appointments which simply can not be arranged in 3 days along side other preparations.

The Golden Girls is currently run by myself (Kristy) and for one lady to safely prepare the reopening of The Golden Girls in 3 days is simply impossible. I need more time. Yesterday was not just a shock to myself, but a shock to the whole industry who feels like have been extremely let down. How is it that pubs/gyms/bars/hair salons etc was given at least 2 weeks notice but we have been given 3 days?

I am so happy that we can finally re open but will not be reopening on Monday 13th July.

This is an announcement to explain a little more about what to expect over the coming weeks.

- This Golden Girls will reopen on Thursday 16th July.
- Our online booking system is temporily out of use.
- Please message us directly to book an appointment.
- If you have had an appointment cancelled and have paid a deposit you will be contacted today.
- If you have had an appointment cancelled and have not paid a deposit you will be contacted tomorrow or Sunday.
- Treatments will be very limited due to government guidelines.

Facials
Microdermabrasion
Facial Waxing
Brow Lamination
Eyelash Treatments

Treatments we can offer:
Nails, Pedicures, Manicures, Body Waxing
