🚨 Important Booking Information for Clients Booking Whilst Abroad 🚨

I’ve recently discovered a potential issue with my online booking system that may affect clients who make appointments whilst outside the UK.

Due to time zone differences, some appointments may appear available when they shouldn’t be, which could result in overlapping bookings.

This is something I was completely unaware of until today and I’m currently investigating whether it’s a setting that can be adjusted.

If you’re currently on holiday and planning to book an appointment with me, please double-check the appointment confirmation time carefully, or send me a quick message before booking and I’ll happily confirm availability for you.

🚧 IMPORTANT NOTICE – ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

For any clients visiting me between now and 10th July, please be aware that the bottom of Lower Dolcliffe Road (Main Street end) is currently closed due to roadworks.

I’ve put together the map below showing what I believe is the easiest alternative route to reach Indulge. Although if you’re familiar with Mexborough and know a better way, please feel free to use your preferred route - the main thing is to avoid approaching from the Main Street end of Lower Dolcliffe Road.

🚗 Access is still available via the alternative route shown on the map
📅 Road closure expected until 10th July

💙 I don’t often talk about my own journey, but with so many new followers recently, I thought I’d share the story behind Indulge Massage Therapy…

I found my purpose on a beach in 2010.

I was on holiday when I had my first ever massage.

Whilst lying there listening to the waves, feeling completely relaxed, I remember looking at the therapist and thinking:

“She must absolutely love her job.”

She was helping people feel better physically and mentally every single day.

Something clicked.

I’ve always known I wanted a career where I could help people. Caring for others has always come naturally to me, and health and wellbeing have always been things I’ve felt passionate about.

But it wasn’t until 2017 that I finally found the courage to do something about it.

I enrolled at White Rose Beauty College, gained my qualifications, and started a journey that would eventually become Indulge Massage Therapy.

At the time, I had no idea where that decision would lead.

Over the last nine years, I’ve had the privilege of treating thousands of people.

I’ve listened to stories of stress, grief, anxiety, burnout, heartbreak, uncertainty and hope.

I’ve celebrated people’s successes with them and supported others through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

And whilst I may be the therapist in the room, I often feel like my clients have taught me just as much as I’ve taught them.

Life hasn’t always been straightforward.

I’ve experienced loss, heartbreak and personal challenges that have shaped the person and therapist I am today.

Losing my mum suddenly in 2021 changed me forever.

It taught me just how important kindness, empathy and human connection really are.

Those experiences have helped me develop something no qualification can teach: the ability to genuinely understand when somebody sits down and says, “I’m struggling.”

Today, Indulge Massage Therapy has grown beyond anything I imagined.

I’ve now received over 380 five-star Google reviews, and every single one means the world to me.

Not because of the number.

But because behind every review is a real person who trusted me to help them feel better.

When clients tell me they’ve slept better, feel less anxious, have less pain, or simply feel more like themselves again, it reminds me exactly why I started.

What began as a thought on a beach in 2010 became a qualification in 2017, a business, a career and a life that I genuinely love.

And sixteen years after that first massage, I still wake up every day grateful that I had the courage to follow that feeling.

Thank you to every single client who has trusted me with their wellbeing over the years. Indulge Massage Therapy wouldn’t exist without you.
