The goal with this client was to create a softer lower maintenance blonde that blends in with both the dark and the greys. To achieve this we did a combination of lowlights and highlights, followed by a root tap and tone to soften that root more as it grows out. While the hair is at this level, we can comfortably play around with different tones and depths of colour without putting too much stress on the hair (i.e chopping and changing from dark to light or light to dark) avoiding as much damage as possible.

But have no fear 😃☝️ we could salvage it without having to go super short! And what a lovely shape this graduated bob turned out to be! I think a lot of people have reached for the scissors at one point or another during their hair journey out of frustration, there is absolutely no judgement on my part...I'm not that kind of gal!

Sometimes it's something as simple as spending more time on a consultation or finding ways to explain the options to clients without confusing them, especially when they're not sure how to put their goals into words. An inspiration picture is ALWAYS helpful, this allows me to tailor your consultation and make sure we're on the same page with your colour outcome. Something as simple as 'I want the darkest colour to match my eyebrows' can be super helpful, and opens up more conversation that gets us closer to achieving your goals!

I saw my client for their regular 6 monthly restyle! This client has beautiful thick hair, which can be hard to manage. I refreshed their face frame shape, added lots of layers, texture, and some additional thinning techniques to make their hair more manageable day to day. To finish off, I used a combination of Moroccanoil and Wella styling products to achieve this healthy, glossy looking finish!

With this lovely client, we try to keep their hair as healthy as possible.
We colour without using bleach 🚫🙅‍♀️ and we alternate a cut with full head of combination lights with a half head every 8 weeks, using only tint!
My client maintains this beautiful hair at home using a bespoke Moroccanoil haircare routine (put together by yours truly) and has predictability of the health and condition of their hair 💇‍♀️
