I’ve been a bit a lacking in posting lately 🙈, but I just HAD to take some early progress pics of my sweet client, who is on her second facial to date, with me.

Having not established a skincare routine, or very rarely worn sunscreen before 😬🧴, my client is starting off with a course of highly results-driven facial treatments, whilst establishing a customised skincare routine at home that she can enjoy and easily get used to.

I do love taking progress photos (when I can remember 🤦🏽‍♀️) because most of us don’t really know how far we’ve come, even if just small improvements. The proof is definitely in the photos!

A professional skin consultation should be the first step you take when you’re considering starting treatments or skincare.

The process allows you to gain advice on what’s best for your individual skin needs and concerns.

We recommend a skin consultation to every new client that visits or enquires, and follow the steps below
to ensure you get the best advice:

STEP 1. Filling out a consultation form - This form contains general and lifestyle info, medical history and current skin routine questions. The form gives us an indication of how you’re currently looking after your skin, and what could be causing concerns and medication to be aware of.

STEP 2. The discussion - This step is super important for us; as it is where we are able to connect with you and figure out why you have decided to visit us. We discuss your skin history, health, lifestyle, current skincare routine and other factors that could be contributing. There is always a reason for why the skin is behaving the way it is.

STEP 3. Visual Analysis - We proceed to take you into our facial room, to look and feel your skin. This step allows us to visually identify concerns e.g pigmentation, oil flow, dehydration, congestion, dryness to name a few. The feel of the skin can be a huge concern to you. However, small changes we recommend on the day can start improving that.

STEP 4. Recommendations - We always approach the skin holistically, allowing us to achieve the best results. To make the process easier for you, we give you a tailored approach to skincare for home use, as well as treatment recommendations, and any lifestyle and/or diet changes we discussed. Helping you along your skin journey is our passion and we love bringing you towards your skin goals.
