Update from this star client! Alex sits through it like a total legend. We are working on lots of tattoos but he has agreed to keep going at this one to see just how far we can take it.
There is always a risk of some ghosting and different people choose to stop treatment when it’s barely there. This one we are going to push the boundaries and see if prolonged treatment makes a difference or if ghosting is just a possible outcome. Working on different tattoos,with the same client has to be one of the things that gets my geeky science brain excited.
Each part of the body, each different type of ink and each combination of lines and shading reacts differently. Choosing the settings for each one makes me feel so accomplished and it’s never boring.
I also love listening to the clients who choose to share the personal stories behind their tattoo choices, why they are wanting it removed and what they plan to do after.

Whenever I have a consult I explain to people that the laser treatment itself doesn’t remove the tattoo but breaks down the ink. Even weeks after the initial treatment your body will continue to flush out the smaller ink particles and the tattoo will continue to fade. This picture is a great example of the same tattoo as pictures previously with NO FURTHER treatment sessions.
