✧ Gently cleanse with a cream cleanser: Image Skincare Vital C Cleanser (no harsh soaps or abrasive cleansers).

✧ Moisturise with a fragrance-fee moisturiser

✧ Avoid long and hot baths or showers. You don’t want to strip your skin of its natural oils. Instead, take a 10- to 15-minute shower or bath (perhaps with added bath oil) in warm water.

✧ Hydrate from within. Drinking plenty of fluids and including healthy, omega-3 fatty acids in your diet can help to keep your skin supple.

✧ Use a humidifier (to add moisture to your environment).
