** Booking Deposits **

Dearest All,

For appointments booked for 1st October onwards, I will be starting to take deposits at the point of booking.
The deposit for your booking will be 30% of the total service charge.
The deposit is refundable if a cancellation is made with more than 24 hours notice. For non-attendees and people wishing to cancel their booking with less than 24 hours notice, the deposit will be retained.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment then I will not be able to complete your treatment, and, in terms of deposit retention, this will be treated as a failure to attend your appointment.

Dearest All,

As I'm sure you're aware, I will once again be closing my doors from Thursday. I am fully booked before I close, but I am taking bookings for December.

These bookings will of course, be subject to the current restrictions being lifted. As it stands, all my evening appointments are full up until 15th December (I still have some Wednesday morning and Saturday availability before then), so if you need your Christmas wax then please make sure you book in.

I will hopefully see you all in December.

Ladies and Gents,

I'm delighted to say I can finally reopen from Monday 13th July.

I will be unable to do any form of facial waxing at the moment as this is still a prohibited high risk area.

Please let me know if you would like to book an appointment and if so, when would work best for you. Please bear in mind that I will be extremely busy to start with but I will try to accommodate your needs as best I can.

Things will be a little different from what you are used to, but I will try and make things as relaxed as possible (there'll still be the same friendly chat, it'll just come from behind a mask).
All customers will be asked to wear facial coverings. If you have your own facial covering then please put it on before you knock on the door for your appointment. If you do not have one, I have a supply here and I am happy to provide you with a disposable face mask for a surcharge of £1. You will be asked to put this on at the front door.
The other changes will be that I will provide you with hand sanitiser when you arrive, and your temperature will be taken. Anyone with a temperature exceeding the guidelines (37.8) will not be seen. I will also ask you to add me to your list of contacts for the governments track and trace should it be required. By attending your appointment you are agreeing for me to pass your contact details should I be required to do so.

I always wear gloves anyway, so there won't be a change there.

The final change is that cash will no longer be accepted. While this situation continues, card only please (I now have a card machine which will be sanitised between clients).

It goes without saying that if you feel unwell prior to your appointment then please let me know and we can rearrange.

Ladies and Gents,

I've had lots of requests over the last week to 'sneak you in' under the radar and have been offered more than I would usually charge to do so. As much as I would love to see each and every one of you, I will not be waxing any of you while the restrictions are still in place.

I would dearly love to be working, and I am as frustrated as you are. Please remember this is my livelihood and I have earned nothing since March 23rd. As soon as I am able to reopen I will.

If I were to 'sneak you in' under the radar then not only would this be illegal, but I would be waxing you without insurance. I have worked long and hard to build my reputation and cannot risk throwing it all away.

I am hopeful that there will be an announcement this week as to when I can reopen and see you all again.

In light of this evenings announcement, it is with a very heavy heart that I must close my Smooth Room until further notice.

I will contact all of my customers with bookings individually.

Dearest Customers,

In light of the newest government advice regarding Covid-19, please be reassured that I am taking every precaution for your forthcoming appointments. My room is being sprayed down between clients with an anti-bacterial and anti-viral spray, and all bedding is continuing to be removed and washed on a hot setting for each client. My front door handle (inside and outside), is also being wiped down between clients.

Whilst I do not wish to feed into the media frenzy surrounding this virus, I do think it's prudent to do everything we can to minimise its spread. Therefore I ask you all that you thoroughly wash your hands before attending your appointment. I also ask that if you, or anyone in your household is at all unwell that you cancel your appointment. I know this may be inconvenient but it is for the protection of both my family and the families of my other clients.

Whilst this situation continues, you will not be charged for late cancellations as previously posted.

Some of my pricing is increasing in April and I wanted to let you know as far in advance as possible.
Here is my new pricelist which will come into effect from 1st April 2020.
There will be no increases for Bikini or Underarm treatments this year.
