4 Doctors Speak Out About Juice Plus Make healthy changes to your life, listen to the truths these doctors are speaking!
According to the CDC, 58% of American teenagers (12-15) aren't adequately cardiorespiratory fit, an increase by 10% from 14 years ago. The UK usually follows US trends but this is one we shouldn't be.
1. Lead by example
It's no surprise that we learn lots of life lessons from our families so if you aren't making smart decisions in what you say or do, your children will find it tough too.
2. Limit screen time
It’s next to impossible to make most teenagers do anything but it gets easier to make them not do some things. Set strict TV times, limit console gaming access, create non-texting/social medie hours. Once these temptations dry up, the outside world may seem more interesting.
3. Pick a sport, any sport
It doesn't have to be a sport in the traditional sense, sports cover a wide variety of activities. Take your kid to something new and you may find that they love rock climbing, kayaking, surfing, cycling, Frisbee football, roller derby, rugby. Let your son or daughter’s imagination run wild. Once they’re given you a list, hop on the internet to see if there’s a league/team/camp in your area.
4. Invest in cool toys
You may not be made of money, but your kid’s health is a much better investment than the new iWhatever. Look into fun fitness-based software you can do together in a game console. Look into family bikes, maybe a tandem?!
5. Check out your fridge
If your kid is fussy, get them to help cook with you. Try different ways of cooking one ingredient. It will take 7 tastes for someone who thinks they don't like a food to change that thought.
Also remember that you can start a programme of great health with me and get free chewables for your kid! Boom!

High Levels of Cancer-Causing Arsenic in Rice – So Why Isn’t It Regulated in Our Food? There are two sides to rice: the grain that feeds half the world – and the primary carcinogenic source of inorganic arsenic in our diet. Arsenic is a natural occurring element that is ubiquitous in the environment. It is present primarily as inorganic arsenic, which is highly toxic.
