My Blending journey so far….

I made the decision in April to embrace my natural white patterning, partly because it’s was almost 100% around the front of my hair and partly because I’m seeing so many women in this journey and felt that it would support, encourage and highlight what a journey looks like.

I had my first blend in May by our lovely Lisa, it was her first blending application and with plenty of support and encouragement about placement and how to soften my copper demarcation line the result was amazing. Since then I’ve had two toners, one I hated (new product made my hair look and feel muddy) and the second a Shinefinity which was gorgeous.

Our second session today was more detailed and took the patience of a saint (thank you Lisa for taking the time to consider my guidance and advice) the placement was more detailed, a lot more foils to fully lift my very white hairline and lots of backcombing to soften.
We lifted with Blondorplex, added depth with Colourtouch, controlled the earth and toner with Shinefinity. The results are fabulous and exactly how I wanted my hair to feel. I’m not sure I’ve convinced Lisa that this is a great service to offer I think she’d had enough by the time she’d finished but team work makes the dream work!!

Grey Blending🩶

For those of you wondering where this all started and why it took so long swipe right.

Lots of colour removing, teased highlights which we had to re apply due to lifting warm which we knew would happen.
Couldn’t have been happier and very much loved by my guest too!

There’s nothing quite like beautiful shiny hair, cut to perfection and treated well.

Beautiful Mahi has the most incredible hair and the colour, all natural is stunning.

We deep cleansed, deep conditioned all using Wella Professionals UK&I then bonded, cut, styled using FFØR haircare for this altimeter shine.

We’ve been working with softening this lovely ladies white hair for a while now however for her last appointment we decided to add some warmth.

Not every blending service has to be dark and silver, sometimes that transition once reached doesn’t necessarily suit the personality of the guest so making adjustments to keep it blended but still natural and beautiful is what we work with. The foiling work is what makes the difference, soft, diffused and intentional.

Blending white hair or Grey Blending.
Just recently I’ve had lots of enquiries about this service and I’m loving that I feel confident in delivering these types of results.

Blending takes time and attention to detail. My guest that came with a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve, blended, no warmth, intentional, dimension and most of all respecting the condition of her hair.
Sooo pleased with this result, seamless, beautiful, no demarcation line, on trend and perfect for her skin tone. The cut was perfect for this new look too!

Achieve using Wella Professionals UK&I Blondorplex with varying developers, filler colour using colour touch 5/19 + 7/19 + 4% from demarcation line to ends(feathered for softness)
Removed section by section once lifted to a pale yellow, treated using Wella Ultimate Repair and toner using Shinefinity 07/89 + 00/00 root tap and end 08/81 + 09/89 developed for 25mins. Styled using Eimi Flowing Form and Thermal Image and finish using ghd professional Chronos.
Also got my favourite scissors out for this cut using .
