Summery balayage refresh by Chloe at Great Linford. Swipe to see the before and you will see the tired faded colour. Using all things hushpro_uk lightener was used with 6.31 to keep some depth and then the blonde was toned with 9.2 for that soft, creamy finish.

We are John & melaniemcbreen the faces behind the changes brand and Changes is becoming somewhat unique in Milton Keynes as a multi-site salon group as the average salon in MK has just 4 staff.

There is so much talk in our industry at the moment about costs and the future with many salons moving away from the traditional employment model. We are immensely proud that we employ all our staff offering them security, opportunity, continued education and development as well as feeling valued as part of not only a salon but a wider team.

We have always employed apprentices and are passionate about providing that invaluable work based learning in partnership with mkcollege. This truly sets them on a fantastic career path in hairdressing.

At mkcollege today for an employer insight morning. Melanie McBreen discussed with other professionals the challenges the industry faces today. What a passionate industry we are with young people at our heart ❤️.

Interestingly there were 205 registered hair and beauty enterprises in MK in 2025 employing 821 people. In the same year 30 apprentices started in MK - 3 of which come from Changes!💙

We are proud to employ all our team supporting them with ongoing education and development. We have some truly amazing young people.
