Is gut health linked to skin health?

Absolutely. Poor gut health can lead to inflammation, breakouts, congestion, skin conditions like acne and rosacea.

One of the best ways to achieve a good gut health (if you are medically ok) for me is holistically. So good diet. It’s all about maintaining a healthy gut microbiome- balance of good bacteria to manage bad gut bacteria.

Foods that can affect our gut health are things like processed foods, alcohol, sugar, caffeine to name a few.

Gut health is a very broad subject and very individual. But a good general message is ‘balance’, are you consuming the above and if so is it balanced?
