This photo was taken after completing laser hair removal on just ONE half of our client’s back, before moving on to the other side! 👀
Notice the redness and little raised bumps?
This is called perifollicular erythema and oedema – a common, temporary skin reaction following laser hair removal.
🔥 The redness is caused by heat and increased blood flow around the treated follicles.
🔥 The little raised bumps are caused by temporary swelling around the hair follicles.
🔥 This reaction is often a sign that the follicles have responded to the laser energy.
It’s completely normal for some clients to experience this, and it usually settles within a few hours to 48 hours.
And now… time to tackle the other half! 💪🏼
Remember, everyone’s skin reacts differently. Some clients experience redness and bumps, while others have very little visible reaction. Both are completely normal!
