Good morning everyone,

So… a little excitement at Fils Hair Stop last night!

The thunderstorm and hailstones triggered the salon alarm. My alarm company believed there were intruders inside the salon, which then triggered the smoke system to stop anyone being able to see. The police were contacted and informed there were intruders in the salon but no fire.

The police attended and, as a precaution, called the fire brigade — which led to quite a lot of activity outside the salon last night!

I came in early this morning to open all the windows, clean through and let some fresh air in. There is still a slight smoky/firework smell lingering, so apologies to anyone with appointments today. Hopefully your treatment and experience will outweigh the smell!

Also, the fire brigade unfortunately had to force entry to get into the salon. This is absolutely not a criticism of them — they were doing their job to ensure everyone’s safety — but it does mean we currently have a rather broken front door, which will hopefully be repaired as soon as possible.

Just thought I would let you all know the drama we had last night! 🤦‍♀️😂

Thank you all as always for your support,
Fil

Just reached £22,000 how amazing is that. The support we have had to reach this amount. Today it was on the news about bowel cancer and that more research is needed as more people/ young people are getting bowel cancer. We need to support this cause to stop this cruel disease devastating families like mine 💔 thank you everyone for your support.
