I’m Claire, the face behind Claire Reid Hairdressing. I’m a fully qualified and insured mobile hairdresser and barber with over 30 years of experience, proudly covering Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Hairdressing isn’t just my job—it’s something I’ve genuinely loved for over three decades. I love helping people feel confident, whether it’s with a fresh trim, a complete restyle, a colour refresh, barbering, or getting someone ready for a special occasion.

💙 A moment that still makes me laugh… 😂🍬

While taking part in the 10-mile Midnight Moo for Willen Hospice back on 26th June 2026, the official photographers managed to catch me at the perfect (or should I say worst! 🤣) moment…

There I was, trying to keep my energy up with a sweet… complete with the wrapper still in my hands… pulling the funniest face ever! 🍬😂

When I zoomed in on the photo, I couldn’t stop laughing. Safe to say, it wasn’t my most glamorous moment! 🤦‍♀️

To make it even better, my two lovely friends were right at the front looking like seasoned professionals, while I was busy being photographed mid-snack! 🤣

Joking aside, it was an incredible evening raising money for the amazing Willen Hospice, and I’m so proud to have completed the 10-mile walk alongside so many fantastic people.

Sometimes it’s the unexpected photos that become your favourites… even if they do make you laugh at yourself! 💙

Has anyone else ever been caught by an event photographer at the most awkward moment? Please tell me I’m not the only one! 😂👇

✨ A fresh new look can make all the difference! ✨

This lovely lady came to me looking for a change after her previous hairdresser retired. Her last haircut had been around six weeks ago, and she felt her style had become a little dated. She wanted something more modern while still being easy to manage.

After chatting through what she was hoping for, I reshaped her haircut by tapering it neatly into the nape, adding more height and texture through the crown, and creating a softer, more contemporary finish. The result was a style with much more movement, volume and life.

The best part? Seeing the huge smile on her face when she looked in the mirror and hearing her say, “I absolutely love it!” ❤️

Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do. Helping people feel more confident is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Watching little ones grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. ❤️

I’ve been cutting this lovely young man’s hair for around a year now. When I first met him, he preferred to sit on his mum’s lap while I gave him his haircut. Fast forward to today, and he sits so confidently all by himself, keeping perfectly still from start to finish.

What a little superstar! 🌟

It’s been a privilege to watch his confidence grow, and now he’s getting ready to start Year 2 at primary school. Wishing him the very best for another exciting school year!

Bow is 1 year old and has the most beautiful black coat with lovely ginger colouring, making her absolutely unique. She’s also grown to be bigger than her mum, Rain! 🥰
