This just came up on my memories and how fitting.

After taking the leap and deciding to open my own business just 8 weeks ago, I can honestly say this is SO true.

The truth is, I wasn’t brave back then. I just pretended to be. I took a deep breath, put on a brave face, and did it anyway. And it turned out to be the best thing I ever did.

Sometimes you don’t have to feel ready, confident or fearless. Sometimes you just have to take that first step, believe in yourself enough to try, and trust that the courage will come along the way.

Because sometimes, pretending to be brave is exactly how you find your bravery. ❤️

The little one is with Grandad today, and I managed to get her into the doctors on Monday. She’s now on antibiotics and an inhaler, so fingers crossed she’ll be feeling much better by the end of the week! 🤞🏼💕

I’m back up and running and in the market today, ready to get back to cutting hair! ✂️

Unfortunately, my two-year-old has been a little poorly over the weekend and, this afternoon, she’s really not herself at all.

This means I’ve made the decision to remain closed on Monday, as she isn’t well enough to go to nursery. I’ll be back open as normal on Wednesday.

I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and I really do appreciate your continued support and understanding. As a one-woman business, it can be difficult when things like this happen, but ultimately, I’m a mum first. ❤️
