7 years ago a young, unassuming ,unconfident and shy girl walked into my salon interested in pursuing a career as a hairdresser.

Like so many before her and I’m sure like so many more to come, at first impression I saw a girl with little confidence, self belief or any real idea of the prospect of ambition, skill or success. Certainly no idea that she could or would ever be a person worthy or even capable of such things!

But what she also didn’t know or see, was what I also saw, was a girl with ‘Heart and realness! Genuine qualities that as her journey began, gave her the natural ability of utter determination, hardwork and commitment to her chosen path and most of all herself.
Because of this, inevitably and unbeknown to her ,amazing things started to happen.

All the things she first thought was unachievable or even possible, not only became possible but became realised and achieved in abundance.
She soon became a beautiful, confident, articulate, fiercely knowledgable and insanely talented and skilled hairstylist! And most of all an absolutely amazing human being!

To be apart of her journey and to watch her grow from who she was to who and what she has become has been a joy , a blessing and a true privilege , for which I will be ever thankful.

So bittersweetly, I sadly but proudly announce that after 7 amazing years ,today our Beautiful and perfect Katie B works her final day at Andrew Bayliss Hairdressing before she bravely spreads her wings and flies the Andrew Bayliss salon family nest.

Katie is leaving us to start her next journey in a new exciting life in a new location with her partner and family . Unfortunately far enough away that we won’t get to see her gorgeous smiley face everyday but not far enough away that we can’t still visit as often as possible….You ain’t going to get rid of us that easy Katie B!

From us all at Andrew Bayliss Hairdressing and ‘m sure I speak for all her long standing loyal clients when I say… Katie… You are loved so so much and you are not just going to be missed but you will leave a massive void in our everyday lives.

But we are all so so proud of you and from the bottom of our hearts we wish you all the success and happiness that only you deserve.
